CATTERY POLICIES
Kittens are closely monitored for progress in weaning off their mother and becoming independent enough to arrive in the hands of their new owners. Most kittens usually are ready by 12 weeks but sometimes more time may be needed.
Please be wary of those who are quick to release their kittens into the hands of another. Waiting until (at least) 12 weeks has proven to develope well socialized, happier, healthier cats as adults than those who leave home at an earlier age.
All our cats & kittens are adopted with a written contract & health guarantee.
Please note, proof from a licensed DVM of spay/neuter will be required in order to receive the CFA registration slip.
We feed Wellness grain free wet food & "free feed" Taste of the Wild dry formula.
Being that cats are obligate carnivores, we believe feeding our cats and kittens grain free food is best for their overall health.
Purified water is also offered to our cats and kittens to which we add L-Lysine every day to build a strong and healthy immune system.

PAYMENT OPTIONS
We accept Paypal, cash, money orders or personal checks *please be advised that all checks returned due to insufficient funds will have an additional $35 fee added to the cost of the kitten.
Kittens are placed in a new home on a pre-approved basis. After acceptance has been determined a non–refundable deposit of $350 will be required to secure "said" kitten.
Our website will state kitten as "adopted" and no further inquiries will be considered.
Visits
We do allow visits, however, we DO have criteria that we go by.
All visits are pre-scheduled, and are for ONE HOUR only.
Visits are allowed only after kittens have reached the age of 6 weeks. And only the kitten you have expressed interest in adopting, will be visited.
We ask, for the safety of the kitten, and our Cattery, that on the day of your scheduled visit, you do not have any other previous appointments with other Catteries, or Shelters.
*Please note.. we cannot hold a kitten for someone without a deposit.
ALL those entering into our home for any cat related purpose will be required to show a valid drivers license.

Prints of Peace Cattery PROMISES that all photos you see on our web pages are NEVER altered other than cropping to center the picture in a frame or a given space.
We guarantee your kitten will look just as the pictures you have seen here on our site.
Many photo shop their pictures giving a false image of what the kitten "really" looks like. Please be careful when purchasing your kitten from a breeder ask to see more pictures.
Do not allow yourself to be satisfied with the featured picture(s) alone.
Our code of ethics includes matching you with the perfect fit for your family or breeding program. NO kitten will leave our home that we ourselves would not delight in keeping.

SHIPPING
No kitten under 12 weeks will be shipped. We have learned kittens are not ready before this & doing so can break down their immune system from the stress of the plane ride causing kitty to become ill once home with you.
*ANYONE who allows you to take home a kitten before 12 weeks of age is NOT keeping the best interest of the kitten in mind. Most kittens nurse on their mommas up until the day they leave. That time bonding and learning from her is very important to his or her well being.
We are no longer shipping our kittens in cargo. We have found a safer alternative for the transporting of our furbabies.
All kittens leaving Prints of Peace will now travel "in cabin" to be watched over by a TransPETer.
Fees for this service are $315.
Please be aware that sometimes more time may be needed to reach the smaller airports. This MAY require a slightly higher fee to do so. Shipping using this service is available to all 48 states.
Alaska & Hawaii will be required to conform to the International Shipping Arrangements listed below.
**Travel arrangements will always be discussed and clearly defined before a final confirmation is made.**
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
Being that Prints of Peace has many interests overseas. We have found it best to allow all pet buyers and breeders to arrange their own travel using the TransPETer or courier of your choice.
If the TransPETer cannot reach your destination we will be happy to meet you at the Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BNIA).
